[CT] OC - Stitcheart - DTA Entry

I would have loved to participate for both designs but I really really loved this earth pony.
Such a lovely design. I had a lot of fun drawing her and imagining her background and such but it was difficult to write it down XD
The concurrence is hard but i'm happy that I participated

Also please, don't be too harsh on me for the mistakes. I'm not english and it proved to be harder than expected to write all this down...

Name : Stitcheart

Nickname : Stitchy

Species : Earth Pony

Gender : Mare

Age : 24

Cutie Mark : A blue heart with a stitch border with a pink button in the middle. A needle is piercing under the button with a brown thread.

Talent : She's an accessories maker. Ribbons, headband, scrunchies, scarves, hats, hooves socks, bags and much more as long as it involves a minimum of needle work.
I wanted her cutie mark to be more general. I could have made a ribbon with a needle or something more specific to sewing but I prefered a heart for various reasons.
First design, secondly, as cheesy as it sounds, she put all her heart in creating her accessories so it made more sense to me to do something like this.

Personality:  Responsible, Hard-working, Perseverant, Creative, Talkative, Straight-Forward, Friendly, Quick to laughter and a tiny bit stubborn...

Likes : Strawberries, singing (she have a tendency to sing a lot and create mini songs for any kind of occasions which can easily get on the nerves of some ponies), going for walk in the early morning, being indoor when the weather is bad, autumn and winter, everything related to snow (making snowpony, skiing...), cold weather, taking care of the aromatic garden on her balcony, collecting plushies and hair accessories, seeing the reaction of the ponies when they try on her accessories, sport in general.

Dislikes : Her strawberries allergy, getting stuck in a un-creative passage, summer, hot weather, insects in general (even butterflies), ponies that are too curious and don't respect privacy, being late.

Hobbies : Creating her own plushies and playing tennis

Backstory:

Stitcheart grew up in a farm located in the outskirt of Manhehattan with her parents and her sister. She naturally learned to take care of animals and plants along the way.

When she was 9, she was searching for some old photos album and found a box of old fabrics that her mother stored away but never used in the end. After asking if she could have them, she decided to make few ribbons to attach her mane to make it more easy for her to attend the farm but still looking nice, without being over the top. You can imagine her surprise along the one of her family to see her cutie mark appear on her flank when she showed them her freshly made creation. Everyone, including herself, was expecting a cutie mark related to the tending of the farm after all.

Being an earth pony, it wasn't an easy task for her since most of time, unicorns were more fitted for this job. Using magic was much more easy for sewing than using a muzzle and some hooves. When she was 16, she tried to join the Academy of Couture Art of Manhehattan but failed a few time since the place were limited and the selection quite hard. But she persevered and finally entered the school where she stayed 4 years until the graduation and specialized herself on accessories.

Despite a lot of works, stress and nerves breaking down a few times, finding a job easily was one of the perks of coming out of such prestigious school. She started to make accessories for Theater then worked a bit for the fashion industry. But her dream was to open her own shop. When she turned 22, she announced to her family her decision to try her chance in Baltimare and to open her own shop here.

Now, she's 24 and finally about to open her own boutique and a lots of new adventures wait ahead.

Misc informations :

She have a light allergy to strawberries much to her dismay. It's nothing severe but she gets a good skin rashes that passes after few days. She does her best to avoid eating any but after a while she craves badly for them. So when she's in holidays, is not rare for her to close herself at home and eat a good bunch of them until she's satisfied. The rashes is never nice but she always this it's worth the risk one time a year.

She have a female mini pig as pet that she called Lace. It was a gift of her parents before she moved to Baltimore.

She's not specially shy or against making friends but she's so focused sometimes in what's she doing that she looks hard to approach.

What I would change on her :
Actually nothing. I like her design. I would just created different accessories for her to wear, few clothes and alternative manestyle for different occasions (gala and such)
