I did this banner one year ago for the french doll/pixel forum called Edellys that I created with friend of mine.
I passed more than one month on it (I was very slow though but If I add the hours together the time passed on it was more around 3 weeks) but I rushed the sky part because I couldn't stand it anymore.... But every time I was on the forum my ugly sky and clouds were bothering me >_< So few days ago I decided to work the sky part again. I will probably edit it again soon to work on the depth problem between the city and the moutains... I think I will add anti-aliasing on the part that are farther back like *wish04 suggested on MB. After that I will take a long break from it again before I start working on the floating ground (to add more volume and texture) and on the grass too. My other goal will be to reduce the amount of colours I used into it because I didn't prepared my pallets when I started it and I kept adding more and more colors instead of using the one that where already in the work... >_<; Old version if you want to compare : [link] And if you want to see the forum XD... We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. The only thing that bothered me, if at all, was the waterfalls I think they need to be a bit darker where they go over the edge, you know? For light sources and all that.
But anyways, I ommented to let you know that I LOVE it and you are talented! ^^ I also like what you did to the sky. But I don't understand why you dumped the pretty little details in the very edges of the frame? D: They were pretty!
