Soarin's green eyes were closely following the cyan mare that had shared his life for several years now.
His companion was harbouring a peaceful and contented smile as she performed a graceful dance in the sky to a song only she knew.
Her eyes were closed, enjoying this blissful moment, lost in her own world, her wings carrying her effortlessly.
He was smiling too. But it was a mask, on the inside a pang of pain was nagging him.
The stallion knew that now,she had totally accepted her role as a mother, that she enjoyed her life at it was.
But...despite Rainbow Dash’s reassuring words, even after all those years, he still saw the invisible chains that bound the cyan mare wings.
The ones that he put there himself by imposing on her a premature family life.

So after talking about it with shonegold to be sure it was fine I edit my artist comment to let you know all that I did not make the outline of this piece.

I just color it for a contest.

When I post this work, I only put the credit it in french.
I didn't translate it in english because I don't really write in english at this time. So since I've a DD, it's time to do it.
