This piece is a bit particular. It's a birthday gift for the mod of Ask Awesomedash : [link]
A few week ago, his friend *Magrior kindly offered me a 3 month subscription so I proposed as a thank, to do a picture for him.
Instead of asking a picture for him, he asked me if I could do a picture of Daring Do for his friend.
I though that was really sweet of him !

Anyway back on the picture... It’s been a long time since I last did this kind of shading. Last time was in 2008 D: a bit before my art-block.
So it was a bit hard to go back at it since I usually do vexel shading…
Also I wish I had passed more time on it. Mostly on the rocks to give them a better texture and a better volume (I hate doing rock XD )

(Still wonder why I choosed this kind of setting…)

Anyway despite all this…
I enjoyed a lot doing it. It was my first time drawing Daring Do and I hope the result look at least Ok in the end XD
