Ficlet Challenge - WingsPrompt : Wings
Word count : 133
Soarin's green eyes were closely following the cyan mare that had shared his  life for several years now.
His companion was harbouring a peaceful and contented smile as she performed a graceful dance in the sky to a song only she knew.
Her eyes were closed, enjoying this blissful moment, lost in her own world, her wings carrying her effortlessly.
He was smiling too. But it was a mask, on the inside a pang of pain was nagging him.
The stallion knew that now,she had totally accepted her role as a mother, that she enjoyed her life at it was.
But...despite Rainbow Dash’s reassuring words, even after all those years, he still saw the invisible chains that bound the cyan mare wings.
The ones that he put there himself by imposing on her a premature family life.

I was going to submit this to scrap but since it's quite clean (yes it is, believe me, if I show you my current wip I'm sure you wouldn't understand it... :C )

Anyway those are the few drawings I did to answer ask on my Tumblr account

Thanks. I would never have though that my style was a mix of the old and new and MLP but now you pointed it, I kinda understand what you're saying that ^^

all i can say (other then how good it is) is that it remindes me of the old MLP series... i had to watch it with my sister when she had the remote... T_T those were dark times

XD I remember the old MLP series, I liked it when I was a child (mlp toys where my fav afterall) but when you look at it now...

Actually I know how the kitchen, living room/hall and the nursery looks like but I need to think a bit more about it for the rest...

And for the wedding dress, feel (indeed) free to draw it ^^ I'll be more that happy to see it taking life if you ever have the time.
I need to get the "design" of Soarin' suit now even if I know it will be more simple than RD one ^^

I will probably draw them together since I have a idea about it for a while but it's a "big" picture and when I think about working on it already I change in a puddle of lazyness...
